READING ASSIGNMENTS

You are responsible to have read the assignments by the time you come to class. This is critical to good discussion and learning.

If you read about 12 pages per day
 you will keep up!

(And the pages are small in Sophie's World!)

 DAILY QUIZZES
Daily quizzes are given at the beginning of each class. The questions are taken from the assigned readings
for the day.  Each quiz is worth a possible 20 points.
There will be a quiz following the special focus
session worth a possible 10pts. It cannot be made up.

 WHAT'S the GROUP'S PHILOSOPHY?

"What's the Group's Philosophy" is to be completed and handed in at the end of class.  Each one is worth a possible 5 pts to each student in the group and cannot be made up.

These are note for your group to help in presenting your groups "philosophy."
 Dissenting opinions may be included.

These exercises are designed to help you consolidate your thinking on the days work.

DISCUSSION CREDITS
The Discussion Worksheet is your aid to effective discussion. Discussion credits will be assigned by receipt of the day's discussion worksheet.
These must be handed in before leaving class and while Discussion Worksheets can be made up,
in class discussion credits (WGP?) can not .

You are responsible to print out, fill out, and
bring the worksheets below to class with you.

I use these in my online class.
They are not required but they will only take a
few minutes to read and will help prepare your mind for absorbing the class material.
